Rage

This is the second piece I wrote in the new style. This was not even one of my long-idle ideas really, I just needed to get it out of me and onto paper. I think I was in part inspired by The Magnus Archive (the “eldritch creatures” type of thing), Lovecraft’s “fear is the oldest emotion” quote, and the Netflix Love, Death & Robots episode “400 boys” – which it borrows a lot from. Anyway, chronologically this is the second such short story. Not my best, but I’m still proud of it. Here it is: Rage.
