I change my name (and it takes almost as long to change the WP site :)

So, I changed my name a while back (then changed it again!) and thought it was about time I updated the site to reflect that. Changing your name in real life is a LOT of admin faff, but at least most places have processes in place to allow people to do this. After all, people get married, divorced etc. every day and marriage certificates/annulments and deed polls are de rigueur for this.

So once I worked out how to point my new domain name at WP, change the primary site, update every instance of my username I could find then a new icon, tagline, and (hey a new template because, why not treat myself), I think I have everything moved over – website wise at least.

Next I need to dive back into Amazon’s CreateSpace and …update the covers of my books… I remember doing those the first time around, and it nearly broke me! Something for when I have an entire day free and lots of coffee on hand!

So now, the interregnum is over – The King is Dead, Long Live the Queen!
